SR-20HD: The video isn’t outputting to my external display.
If video is not being output from the SR-20HD, check the following points.
Video is showing on this unit’s display
The same video that’s shown in this unit’s display is output to the HDMI OUT (MAIN, PVW) connectors. Check whether your external display is connected properly.
No video is showing on this unit’s display
Check the following points.
What to check | Explanation |
---|---|
INPUT [HDMI IN 1] [HDMI IN 2] [STILL 1] [STILL 2] buttons | When a valid video signal is input, the buttons that are not used for switching light up white. When the buttons that are not used for switching go dark, a valid video signal is not being input. |
Output Fade |
The background color appears as black or white when the main output video fades out. When Output Fade is assigned to one of the VIDEO FUNCTION [A]–[E] buttons, press the button again. |
Chroma key |
The key composite result is output as a completely black video in the following examples. A valid video is not being input to the channel selected as the Key Source Ch, and the following settings are being used: Key Color = Black (luminance key), Key Level = 0, Key Gain = 0 or Key Color = Green 2 (chroma key), Key Level = 0, Key Gain = 0 Even though a valid video is being input to the channel selected as the Key Source Ch, a completely black video may be shown depending on the video layered on top and the parameter settings. |
