On the SR-20HD, auto mixing is used to automatically control the volume, a task that’s normally performed by an operator. This lets you rely on the SR-20HD to perform complex volume adjustment operations, in situations where a dedicated operator is not available.

Follow the steps below.

1. From the [MENU] button, select “Audio Mixing” -> “SW”, and then press the [VALUE/CURSOR] knob.
2. Turn the [VALUE/CURSOR] knob to select On”, and then press the [VALUE/CURSOR] knob.
   - The auto mixing function turns on.
3. Use the [VALUE/CURSOR] knob to select the audio to which the setting is applied, and then press the [VALUE/CURSOR] knob.

   Menu item	Explanation
   AUDIO IN 1–4	AUDIO IN 1–4 input
   HEADSET Mic	Headset mic input

4. Use the [VALUE/CURSOR] knob to select what auto mixing is going to control (On) or not control (Off), and then press the [VALUE/CURSOR] knob.
   - For audio that does not require auto mixing, such as background music, choose “Off”.
5. Press the [MENU] button to close the menu.
