V-1HD+: How to Prevent Audio Settings from Changing When you Power On
Before you follow the steps in this guide, check that your V-1HD+ is up to date with the latest version:
When you power on the V-1HD+, by default it recalls the current physical positions of the audio knobs, even if Panel Lock is enabled.
If you want to retain your audio settings and bypass the physical knob values, change this setting from Panel to Memory:
- Menu > 11: Preset Memory > Priority > Memory
Doing this will change your audio values whenever you recall a preset. You can prevent this by turning off the related Load Parameter settings:
- Menu > 11: Preset Memory > Load Parameter > Audio Input > Off
- Menu > 11: Preset Memory > Load Parameter > Audio Output > Off
For most workflows, keep the Startup setting as Last Memory, it auto-saves your settings while using the V-1HD+:
- Menu > 11: Preset Memory > Startup > Last Memory
Only change this setting if you want to power on with a specific preset memory scene. Note that if the above Load Parameter settings are off, the audio knob positions when you last turned it off are used.
If you want to prevent a particular group of audio knobs from changing settings and keep them at fixed values, use the following Panel Lock settings:
- Menu > 17: System > Panel Lock > Audio Level > On
- Audio In 1, Audio In 2, Line In, and Main knobs
- Menu > 17: System > Panel Lock > Audio Gain > On
- Audio Gain 1 and Audio Gain 2 knobs
