In rare instances, some HD PTZ cameras may not transmit HDMI signals correctly to the V-600UHD and VC-100UHD without first changing a setting on the camera.

• On the V-600UHD, you will see the camera in the multi-view input box, but it will not appear on Program or Preview on the multi-view or video outputs.
• Only HDMI output is affected, SDI output will function normally.

 

Camera models known to have this issue:

• JVC KY-PZ200
• PTZ Optics PT20X-SDI-GY-G2
• PTZ Optics PT20X-USB-GY-G2

 

JVC Setting:

• Open the camera menu
• Go to Setup > DVI Mode, and change the setting from HDMI to DVI
• Press the Home button to confirm and restart the camera
• You should now see the camera image on your V-600UHD or VC-100UHD output
• Note that DVI signals do not support embedded audio

 

PTZ Optics Setting:

• Open the camera menu
• Go to Setup > DVI Mode, and change the setting from HDMI to DVI
• Turn off the camera and turn it back on again
• You should now see the camera image on your V-600UHD or VC-100UHD output
• Note that DVI signals do not support embedded audio
