If you open either program and it closes before you can use it, one of two things is happening:
- You do not have compatible Roland streaming hardware connected
- To resolve this, connect one of the following via USB to the computer and try again:
- V-02HD MK II, V-160HD, VC-100UHD, VR-1HD, VR-4HD, VR-50HD MK II, UVC-01, UVC-02

- To resolve this, connect one of the following via USB to the computer and try again:
- Your computer does not have an Intel processor with Quick Sync enabled
- AMD processors are not compatible
- Not all Intel processors have Quick Sync
- You can look up your processor's model to see if it has Quick Sync
Intel Quick Sync is not something that you can add or install, it is built in to the processor.
If your processor has Quick Sync, but you still get an error message, it's possible it was disabled by an upgrade or update to your computer.
For example, if you install a new graphics card with a dedicated GPU, it may disable Quick Sync. Please contact the card manufacturer's product support to help determine if it is safe to turn on Quick Sync again.
- Note that enabling Quick Sync may require changing a setting in your computer's BIOS, and is generally not recommended, please confirm with the manufacturer first
