As of April 2026, new updates have had changes on the V-80HD, VR-6HD, and VR-120HD in terms of how the RTMP stream can be used. With added security features, this no longer allows the RTMP stream to be set up in the Remote Control Software. The only way to set this up is within the QR code Web Application. Along with this, after updating these video switchers to the following firmware:

• V-80HD - Version 1.30
• V-160HD - Version 3.60
• VR-6HD - Version 2.20
• VR-120HD - Version 2.20

You will not be able to roll back to an older firmware. This will help to check for other potential bugs that can be solved within the latest firmware.

RTMP STREAMING:

We do understand that this can arise concerns when streaming to a client's webpage. Without login credentials can be a challenge to get to that specific stream key. Logging into the specific account can be bypassed by setting your Service to a Custom RTMP stream, and then using the QR code Web Application.

SRT STREAMING:

Similar to the RTMP streaming, setting your SRT out stream must be done outside of the RCS software. This can be done within your VR-6HD, VR-120HD, or V-80HD Stream/Record Menu Setting.
