V-02HD MK II: The menu does not appear in PREVIEW OUT, and I can’t perform a factory reset.
The menu may not appear on a display connected to the PREVIEW OUT of the V-02HD MK II, possibly because of the output format settings or because the display doesn’t support HDCP.
Follow the steps below if you need to perform a factory reset when the menu screen is not displayed.
When you execute a factory reset, the contents of all your previous settings and any settings saved in preset memory, as well as the still image saved in the unit are lost. If you want to keep your important settings, use the “V-02HD MK II Utility” dedicated app to make a backup beforehand. Captured still images cannot be backed up.
- Turn the power of the V-02HD MK II on.
- Press the [MENU] button.
- Turn the [VALUE] knob clockwise several times, and press the [VALUE] knob.
- The unit is now in “14:SYSTEM.” - Turn the [VALUE] knob clockwise again several times, and press the [VALUE] knob.
- The unit is now showing the FACTORY RESET confirmation message, “(ARE YOU SURE? NO/YES)”. - Turn the [VALUE] knob one click clockwise, and press the [VALUE] knob.
- This selects “YES,” and the factory reset is executed.
- The factory reset takes approximately 40 seconds.
