V-160HD: Instantly Switching Between PGM and AUX Assignments to the Output Connectors
You can use the AUX link function on the V-160HD to send the same signal as the final output to the AUX bus.
For example, in a presentation environment you can send the computer’s video to the projector via the PGM output. At the same time, you can send the same signal to the presenter’s monitor via the AUX output. This ensures that the presenter can see exactly what the audience sees at all times. In addition, by switching the AUX input you can display different content on the presenter’s monitor, such as a countdown timer indicating the remaining presentation time.
From the [MENU] button > “SYSTEM”, set “AUX LINKED PGM” to either “AUTO LINK” or “MANUAL LINK”.
- AUTO LINK: The AUX link is automatically enabled when you operate the [AUTO] button or another control to switch the final output video.
- MANUAL LINK: When you press the selected AUX [1]–[10] button (lit up green) to make it go dark, AUX link is enabled.
