Connecting the V-80HD to the Yamaha DM3
Connecting your Roland V-80HD video switcher to the Yamaha DM3 audio mixer can be done over network with a single LAN cable. This connection can be used to control your embedded audio using your DM3 faders. You can also use the assignable pads or macros on the V-80HD to recall scenes on the DM3. This can be connected directly, or through a network switch or router.
Connecting via LAN:
After connecting your 2 devices, you will want to go to your network settings and ensure that your 2 devices are on the same network. this can be done either manually or through DHCP (automatic) connection. Once your 2 devices are on the same network, go to your network settings on your V-80HD and scroll down to "Yamaha Mixer Control." This is where you'll enter the IP address to the DM3 on your V-80HD.
Assigning audio channels:
Once your V-80HD detects the DM3, scroll down to the selected audio source you want to assign to a fader. Select which channel you would like your audio channel to be assigned. Once selected, your fader should mirror your audio level source.
