VenuSet: The preview video from the VR-6HD is not displayed correctly.
When selecting Views 1 to 8, a portion of the image from the PVW or PGM section shown at the top of the MULTI-VIEW screen appears, so these views cannot be used to preview input sources.
Once VenuSet is connected to the VR-6HD, the video assigned to the VIDEO SWITCHER [1]–[6] buttons and the information displayed in the two dashboards can be used as preview sources. By selecting one of the Views 9 to 16 as the preview source, you can view both the video source and status information such as the clock and streaming/recording state.
Please follow the steps below to configure the settings.
- On the VR-6HD:
- Press the [MENU] button → go to "SYSTEM" → open "MULTI-VIEW SETTINGS".
- Disable the tally frames and labels in MULTI-VIEW.
- TALLY FRAME
- AUX/SOURCE INDICATOR
- EXTERNAL REC INDICATOR
- AUDIO LEVEL METER
- PREVIEW LEVEL
- On VenuSet:
- Select a preview source from Views 9–16.
- Select a preview source from Views 9–16.
If no video is received at all, please check the following:
- Ensure that the VR-6HD and VenuSet are properly connected with a USB 3.0-compliant cable.
