When you create a project, the default "Playback Audio Source" setting is "Replay".

When you switch the Output from "Live In" to "Replay", the following happens:

• If the recording is paused, there is no audio
• If the recording is playing at 100% speed, you hear the audio from the recording
• If the recording is playing in slow motion, there is no audio

To change this setting and have continuous live audio when the Output is "Live In" or "Replay", go to:
Menu > Project > Project Settings (2/2) > Playback Audio Source > Live In

• Note that you will no longer hear the audio from the recording, only the live input.

Changing this setting is helpful for applications like live sports, so the announcers can talk about the replay.

If the P-20HD's Main output is connected to an input on a video switcher, changing this setting is not necessary, you can mix the replay audio in the switcher and combine it with live commentary.

The default setting is recommended for applications where a teacher evaluates a dance performance, and the audio from the recording is needed.
