Roland Switchers: Exporting a 24-bit Bitmap Image in MacOS
Some Roland switchers that support still image import only accept .BMP files
Some models have support for .PNG (alpha channel not supported) and .JPG files.
To check format compatibility with your model, first make sure you have the latest firmware on your switcher and refer to this chart:

If you need to import .BMP files and you're using a Mac, note that it needs to be a 24-bit Bitmap format, and Macs cannot properly export that format with the built-in MacOS program called Preview.
Some customers have success exporting via Photoshop, or an online image converter.
If you have access to Windows, MS Paint can easily export this exact format
Also, in some rare cases it can be the USB flash drive causing the import issue, so try a different drive as well.
