This guide lists USB cables that are compatible with Professional AV products for streaming and recording with a computer.

• SR-20HD doesn not have USB output, it has a Type A 3.0 USB video input, which is compatible with UVC-01 and VR-4HD.
• V-4EX, VR-3, and VR-3EX have a USB video output with a Type B 2.0 connector, it is a different shape from the one pictured above. VR-5 has a USB Type A 2.0 connector.
• If your model is not listed, connect an HDMI output to a UVC-01 or UVC-02 to add USB streaming output.

If you are unable to find any of the recommended cables, these are the specifications:

• USB 3.0 or higher
• Super Speed
• 5 Gbps or higher: up to 1080P 60 FPS HD video
  • If it is USB 2.0, High Speed, and 480 Mbps, it will not work with HD video
• 10 Gbps or higher: up to 2160P 30 FPS 4K video
  
  
• Between 3 to 10 feet long
  
  • Longer cables may work, but they have not been tested
    
  • 10 ft cables may not support 4K video
    
• Type B to Type A connectors
  • For use with most PC's and some Macs
    
    
• Type B to Type C connectors
  • For use with most Macs and some PC's 
    • A Thunderbolt cable is not needed
    • Some USB-C ports are only used for charging
    • Alternative: Apple adapter MJ1M2AM/A with a "B" to "A" cable
