M-300: Backing Up Mixer Settings to a USB Drive and then Reloading the USB Backup

The following will guide through backing up mixer settings to a USB drive and then reloading the backup. This is useful for having a safe copy of mixer settings or for copying mixer settings from one M-300 onto another M-300.

SAVING MIXER SETTINGS TO A USB DRIVE

  1. Insert a USB memory into the USB MEMORY port of the M-300.
  2. Press the SYSTEM button.
  3. Press F3 (LOAD/SAVE).
  4. Press F2 (SAVE).
  5. Press F8 (SAVE).
    A “now processing” message will indicate the progress of the operation. When saving is completed, the progress indication will close.

LOADING MIXER SETTING FROM A USB DRIVE

  1. Insert a USB memory into the USB MEMORY port of the M-300.
  2. Press the SYSTEM button.
  3. Press F3 (LOAD/SAVE).
  4. Move the cursor to the project file list, and select the file that you want to load.

  5. Move the cursor to the LOAD SECTION and the LOAD LIBRARY areas, and select the sections that you want to load.

  6. Note: Select the "ALL" button for both the LOAD SECTION and LOAD LIBRARY if you want to load all settings from the USB backup.

  7. Press F1 (LOAD).
  8. Press F8 (LOAD).
    A “now processing” message will indicate the progress of the operation. When loading is completed, the progress indication will close.
