When outputting from an older model iPad Pro via HDMI, you may notice distorted video or green lines across the video. If this happens, you need to adjust your iPad Pro's Display settings.

 

On the iPad Pro, go to:
Settings > Display and Brightness > "Roland" > Allow Display Mode Changes > On

Unplug and re-plug the HDMI cable, and that should fix the issue.

 

If it did not, try adjusting the EDID setting on your compatible switcher to "1080P":

VR-4HD	Input 4	System Setup >  Video CH 4 (page 1) > Resolution (EDID)
VR-50HD MK II	All Inputs	Menu > Video [X] > EDID (page 2)
XS-1HD	All Inputs	Menu > System > EDID Copy
XS-42H	All Inputs	Menu > System > EDID
XS-62S	Inputs 5-6	Menu > 1: Video Input > HDMI IN [5/6] > EDID
XS-80H Series	All Inputs	Menu > EDID

 

Then, unplug and re-plug the HDMI cable, and check again.
