Roland Switchers: How to Fix Distorted iPad Pro Input
When outputting from an older model iPad Pro via HDMI, you may notice distorted video or green lines across the video. If this happens, you need to adjust your iPad Pro's Display settings.
On the iPad Pro, go to:
Settings > Display and Brightness > "Roland" > Allow Display Mode Changes > On
Unplug and re-plug the HDMI cable, and that should fix the issue.
If it did not, try adjusting the EDID setting on your compatible switcher to "1080P":
V-02HD MK II | All Inputs | Menu > 1: Video Input > Input [X] > EDID |
V-1HD+ | Input 4 | Menu > 1: Video Input > Input 4 (Scaler) > EDID |
V-1SDI | Input 4 | Setup > Video Input (page 2) > CH4 HDMI > EDID |
V-8HD | Inputs 7-8 | Menu > 1: Video Input > Input [7/8] (Scaler) > EDID |
V-60HD | Inputs 5-6 | Menu > 1: Video Input > HDMI IN [5/6] > EDID |

VP-42H | All Inputs | Menu > System > EDID |
VR-1HD | All Inputs | Menu > Video Input > Input [X] > EDID > 1080P |
VR-4HD | Input 4 | System Setup > Video CH 4 (page 1) > Resolution (EDID) |
