VR-1HD & V-60HD: How To Setup A MIDI Controller With The Audio Mixer
The VR-1HD and V-60HD RCS software allows you to control your switcher and quickly adjust menu settings.
This is helpful when dialing in audio settings, adding the ability to easily mix embedded audio levels, as well as Solo and Mute functions for all audio channels.
If you want to map the Faders and Solo/Mute buttons to a USB controller, you can quickly program it using the RCS software.
Note that the following versions of the RCS software are required for your switcher: VR-1HD RCS 1.0.0.0 or later V-60HD RCS 2.5.0 or later |
Open the RCS software, and access the audio mixer.
- On the VR-1HD RCS, click [ <MENU ], followed by [ AUDIO MIXER ].
- On the V-60HD RCS, the mixer is on the main screen.
To map a function to your controller, right-click on the fader or button you want to map, click on [ Learn MIDI Control ], and move/press the fader or button on the USB controller you want to assign to it.

V-60HD: |
You will now see that fader or button control both the RCS software and switcher.
You can also use the [ Forget MIDI Control ] option if you no longer want the function assigned to that fader or button.
