AR-3000SD: Programmable Timer Settings (Every Day)
The programmable timer can be used to perform such operations as starting and stopping phrase playback at preset times. The following guides through setting up a daily programmable timer schedule.
IMPORTANT NOTES

CREATING A SCHEDULE
- Selecting the SD or CF card
- Connect the SD or CF card to a Windows computer. Note that this may require a SD/CF to USB card reader that is compatible with the computer's operating system.
- Open the ARE Editor Software. This software can be downloaded here:
https://proav.roland.com/global/support/by_product/ar-3000sd/updates_drivers/ - Click on FILE(F) and then "OPEN Card Info.(O)."
- Double-click on the SD or CF drive (labeled as "ROLAND") that's connected to the computer. This can be accomplished by select "Computer" and then look in the "Devices with Removable Storage" section.
- Double-click on the "_AR3TDRI.CNF" folder, select the "_ART3SYS.CNF" file and then click on "Open."
- Creating a Schedule
- "Click on PROGRAMMABLE TIME(P) and then "Schedule Setup(S)."
- In the Name: section, type in the desired name of the schedule.
- In the "Schedule" section, double-click on the letter "A."
- Double-click on No. "1" and make the following settings.

- Time: set the time when command will take place.
- Command: Set the command that will take place. For example: If a phrase will be played, click on "PLAY."
- Parameter: Type the Phrase that will be played. For example: If the phrase A0001 will be played, type in "A0001" here.
- Click on the "ENTER" box.
- Repeat these steps for any additional programs.
- When completed, click on the "OK" box.

- Click on the "ENTER" box to complete the Schedule Setup.
- Programming Times
- Click on PROGRAMMABLE TIME(P) and then "Main Setup(M)."
- In the "Mode:" section, click on the dropdown window and select "Every Day".
- In the "Every Day's Schedule" section, click on the dropdown window and select the Schedule that you just created and then click on ENTER.
- Click on FILE(F) and then SAVE Card Info.(S).
- Close the ARE Editing Software.
- Properly eject the the SD or CF card from Windows before physically disconnecting it from the computer.
- The SD or CF card can now be placed into the AR-3000SD and the audio file(s) will play based on the schedule.
