V-80HD: The USB audio input from the computer gets looped when streaming on a web meeting application.
The USB Stream connector on the V-80HD supports both audio output and input with a connected computer.
When using web conferencing software like Zoom or Teams for live streaming, audio from the computer may be routed back to the V-80HD. Since the USB In audio channel is included in the V-80HD’s audio mix, this can create an audio loop, causing an echo effect for the audience.
To address this, the V-80HD offers three independent audio buses: the Main bus, AUX 1 bus, and AUX 2 bus. These buses can be assigned to any video output connector or audio jack as needed.
Muting the USB In audio channel will eliminate the echo. However, if you want to include the USB In audio in your mix without sending it to the web conferencing application, follow the example settings below:
NOTE: Example settings for mixing audio except for USB In and output from the USB Out.
- Press the [MENU] button > “Audio Output” > “Output Assign”, and press the [VALUE] knob.
The Output Assign screen appear.
-
Select a bus other than the Main bus for USB Out.
-
Set the USB In Send Level of the AUX 1 Bus to "-INF dB".
-
For each audio channel you want to add to the AUX 1 Bus mix, change the Send Point to "Post Fader" and set Send Level to "0 dB".
