AeroCaster: How to Fix Your Camera Connecting in Portrait Mode
When you connect a phone or table running Roland Satellite Camera app (formerly known as the AeroCaster Camera app) to AeroCaster Live, it should appear as a widescreen horizontal 16:9 image, also known as landscape orientation.
If it appears as a vertical 9:16 image, also known as portrait orientation, you need to change a setting on your phone or tablet and reconnect.
AeroCaster Live outputs only widescreen 16:9 video, so any vertical video sources will have black bars on the left and right side.
If using iOS or iPadOS with Roland Satellite Camera, check that Portrait Orientation Lock is turned off. Use this guide to find the setting: Rotate the screen on your iPhone or iPod touch
