You can reset your XS-1HD to its default settings using the menu on HDMI output 4:

Menu > System > Factory Reset > Execute

 

If HDMI output 4 does not display the menu when the Menu button is lit green, follow these steps to reset it without seeing the menu:

• Press the Menu button
• Rotate the Cursor knob clockwise (to the right) about 10 clicks
  • When you rotate the knobs, notice how they click
• Rotate the Cursor knob counter-clockwise (to the left) one click
• Press the Enter button (next to menu)
• Rotate the Cursor knob clockwise (to the right) about 20 clicks
  • When you rotate the knobs, notice how they click
• Press the Enter button
• Rotate the Cursor knob clockwise (to the right) 1 click
• Press the Enter button
• The XS-1HD panel should start flashing
• Shortly after that, you should see menu output on HDMI output 4
  • Note that all your settings are now at their default
