When a new USB drive will be used with the M-200i, it must be formatted prior to use. Note that this will erase all data currently on the USB drive.

USB Drive Format:

1. If an iPad is syned to the M-200i, press and hold the FUNC button on the M-200i and then press EXIT so that the iPad is no longer synced.
2. Insert the USB drive into the MEMORY port on the back of the M-200i.
   Note: Be sure not to mistakenly place the drive in the WLAN ADAPTER port.
3. Press the SETUP button on the M-200i.
4. Use the cursor arrow buttons to select “USB MEMORY“ on the M-200i's internal screen and press [ENTER].
5. Select “FORMAT“ and press [ENTER].
6. Press [ENTER] to carry out the Format operation.
   A progress message indicates the state of formatting.
   When the “COMPLETED“ indication appears, formatting is
   complete.
