XS SERIES: Using HDBaseT
In order to use HDBaseT you must set your outputs to HDBaseT. Here are the steps:
- Press [MENU]
- Use the VALUE knob to get to item 2: VIDEO OUTPUT
- Press down the VALUE knob to [ENTER]
- The first option you have is 1: OUTPUT-1
- Press down the VALUE knob to [ENTER]
- Under OUTPUT SELECT set to "HDBaseT" using the value knob
- Press down the VALUE knob to [ENTER] to confirm
- Move to the next channel using the > to set it to HDBaseT
- Now you're done
The XS has HDBaseT outputs that can be connected to projectors, Tv's or other devices equipped with HDBaseT input connectors. The max distance that you want to go with these are 300ft.
The type of cable that you want to use is Cat 5e (Category 5e) or later shielded LAN cable.
