The USB port on the V-1HD is only used for the following:

• Control the RCS Software
• Control the Remote iPad app

• Backup/Restore Memory Settings
• Update the firmware

 

Note that it does not output audio and video for streaming or recording, you will need a separate HDMI to USB Converter.
