VR-5 - USB on VR-5
I can connect my VR-5 to my PC with a USB cable but I can't actually see video in any programs. I don't even have any new icons to click on. How can I know my VR-5 is sending video and audio to the computer?
When you connect your VR-5 to your computer, the default drivers (Video Class Driver and Audio Class Driver) are automatically installed by your Windows or Mac operating system. In Mac, you can use QuickTime to confirm your video and audio. Simply select "VR-5" as your video and audio sources. Your VR-5 Output will appear.
Since Windows has no equivalent program on it, you'll need to get one. If you don't have a video sharing program such as Skype, uStream or LiveStream, etc etc, you can download and install Adobe Media Encoder for free. Install the freeware program from adobe.com, then select VR-5 or "Video Class Driver" as your source in Abobe Media Encoder and you will see the VR-5 output stream.
