The VR-50HD are usually auto detected as a webcam device. There is no drivers that need to be pre-installed before using it with a computer to capture video. In the case where you have issues with your computer not recognizing the VR-50HD as a a web cam, it's possible that your computer does not meet system requirements.

When recording data in the HD size, use a personal computer in which the third generation (Ivy Bridge) Core i5 or newer series and a USB 3.0 port are installed.
