VR-50HD: Setting Aspect Ratio for Video Inputs

If you're looking to work with different aspect ratios for you video inputs it's important that you define the aspect ratios in the setup to avoid images looking squished or stretched.

The VR-50 has a Letter Box (Pillar Box) option available for each input. This is very important when you are working with a mix of 4:3 aspect ratio video and 16:9 aspect video. Especially since adding the Letter Box (Pillar Box) to the your 4:3 input source will avoid the your program out looking stretched out and your 16:9 input sources will not be affected.

Here are the steps to setting a letterbox (pillar box):
Hit <Menu>
Under the Video section select which input (1-4) you would like to edit.
Once you are in that menu you can enable <letterbox> for that input and you can even manually re-size the image.

Thanks for Choosing Roland ProAv for you solution.
