This guide applies to both AeroCaster, and Roland Switchers with Direct Streaming.

 

AeroCaster can stream to Facebook Timelines, Pages, and Groups. Note that Events (scheduled streams) are currently not supported.

To stream a scheduled Event, use Facebook's website to get the RTMP URL and Stream Key, then copy and paste that information in AeroCaster as a Custom stream type. You can find that information by doing the following:

• Timeline Stream
  • Switch to your account (not a Page)
  • Create a Live Video post
  • Click on "Create event"
  • Fill in the information on the left side of the page and click "Next"
  • Click on "Settings", followed by "Stream"
• Page Stream
  • Switch to your Page's account
  • Create a Live Video post
  • Click on "Create event"
  • Fill in the information on the left side of the page and click "Next"
  • Click on "Settings", followed by "Stream"
• Group Stream
  • Switch to an account that is part of the Group
  • Go to the Group's page
  • Add a new post, click on the ". . ." and click on Live Video
  • Click on "Create event"
  • Fill in the information on the left side of the page and click "Next"
  • Click on "Settings", followed by "Stream"
