Use the following procedure to initialize the VM-3100 to its original factory
settings:

1) Press [SYSTEM].
2) Press [F1-F4 ON/OFF] so it is lit.
3) Press F4[INIT] to display "SYSTEM INIT."
4) Use the VALUE dial to place a check mark in the box labeled "All."
5) Press [ENTER/YES] to display "Initialize. Are You SURE?"
6) Press [ENTER/YES] to display "Initialize. Really SURE?"
7) Press [ENTER/YES] to display "Processing . . ." followed by "Changing
Internal."
8) Press [EXIT/NO] to return to the main menu.
