RSP-550: Connecting to a Guitar Amplifier
The RSP-550 can be used as a guitar effect processor with any guitar amplifier. It can be connected as an insert effect or as a loop effect.
Use the following procedure to connect your RSP-550 as an insert effect:
- Connect your guitar 1/4 cable into the INPUT -L- on the rear panel.
- Use the LEVEL (dBm) switch to adjust the sensitivity of the input.
- Connect the OUTPUT -L- to your guitar amplifier input.
- Use the LEVEL (dBm) switch to adjust the sensitivity of the output.
Use the following procedure to connect your RSP-550 as a loop effect:
- Connect your guitar 1/4 cable into the amplifier guitar input.
- Connect the effect loop output of the amplifier to the INPUT -L- and -R- of RSP-550.
- Use the LEVEL (dBm) switch to adjust the sensitivity of the input.
- Connect the OUTPUT of the RSP-550 to the effect return of the guitar amplifier.
- Use the LEVEL (dBm) switch to adjust the sensitivity of the output.
Now you can select the Patch suitable for the guitar part you want to play or
record.
