When the Recorded Phrase Protect mode is on, recorded phrases on the PC Card will be protected and cannot be recorded over. To turn the Recorded Phrase Protect Mode on or off, use the following steps:

1. Press the MODE button. The MODE indicator will light.

2. Rotate the SELECT dial to select “5.5 Record Protect.”

3. Press the SELECT dial.

4. Rotate the SELECT dial to turn Record Protect on/off.

5. Press the SELECT dial.

6. Rotate the SELECT dial to select “Set.”

7. Press the ENTER button and the Recorded Phrase Protect mode will be set.
