Up to 16 phrases can be specified for playback, one per control input pin. To specify the phrase that will playback for each control input pin, use the following procedure:

1. Press the MODE button. The MODE indicator will light.

2. Rotate the SELECT dial to select “4.2 Direct Play.”

3. Press the SELECT dial.

4. Rotate the SELECT dial to select the CH number of the appropriate control pin.

5. Press the SELECT dial.

6. Rotate the SELECT dial to select the desired phrase number (card A/B). If you do not wish to assign a phrase to the control input, select “----.”

7. Press the SELECT dial.

8. Rotate the SELECT dial to select the desired phrase number (phrase number). If you do not wish to assign a phrase to the control input, select “----.”

9. Repeat steps 4-8.

10. When you have finished making the settings, rotate the SELECT dial to select one of the following:

A. END.
B. RESET.
C. CLEAR.

12. Press the SELECT dial.

13. Rotate the SELECT dial to select “SET.” If you select “EXIT” the settings will be canceled.

14. Press the SELECT dial.

15. Press the MODE button. The MODE indicator will go off.
