From time to time, it is desirable or necessary to delete phrases from the PC card. To do so using the AR-2000, use the following procedure:

1. Press the MODE button. The MODE indicator will light.

2. Rotate the SELECT dial to select “2.1 Delete Phrase.”

3. Press the SELECT dial. Please note that if there are no recorded phrases, the “Delete Phrase” function cannot be used.

4. Rotate the SELECT dial to select the first phrase (Card A/B) to be deleted.

5. Press the SELECT dial.

6. Rotate the SELECT dial to select the first phrase (phrase number) to be deleted.

7. Press the SELECT dial.

8. Rotate the SELECT dial to select the last phrase you wish to delete.

9. Press the SELECT dial.

10. Rotate the SELECT dial to select “Execute”.

11. Press the ENTER button to delete the selected phrase(s). The display will change to indicate the phrase has been deleted.

12. Press the MODE button. The MODE indicator will go off.
