VR-50HD MK II: My Camera Image Is Cropped on the Output, but Not the Multi-View
On the VR-50HD MK II multi-view screen, if you select a video input and it appears cropped on the output, you need to check your scaler settings.
Scaler settings only apply to the PVW and PGM windows on the multi-view, and all video outputs assigned to PGM, PVW, and AUX, including USB. The bottom half of the multi-view only displays input sources before the scaler is applied.
In this example: Input 1 (HDMI 1) had the Zoom setting changed to 120%.
Note how in PVW and PGM, the chair is closer to the edge of the frame, but not HDMI 1.
There are many practical uses for the scaler, but if someone changed the settings by accident, this guide will walk you through resetting it.
To reset the scaler settings, open the menu and tap the input number under Video that you want to adjust.
Tap Zoom, and adjust the value knob until it is 100%. Also, Size H, Size V, Position H, and Position V should be set to 0.
If the does not restore it, check your output settings next. Open the menu and tap Output under Video.
Tap Zoom, and adjust the value knob until it is 100%. Also, Size H, Size V, Position H, and Position V should be set to 0.
