V-1SDI: EDID (INPUT 4)
The V-1SDI supports EDID into channel input 4. This input would ideal for connecting laptops or intelligent video devices that send out a EDID signal to optimize the video resolution via a handshake. The V-1SDI by default is set to AUTO. Which will allow the device you plugged in to make the determination on the best signal it can output that is compatible to the V-1SDI. If you would like to stick to a specific resolution you have the option of setting the resolution in the menu. To make the adjustment:
- Press and hold the SETUP button for 2 secs to bring up the menu
- You should be able to see the On Screen Menu from your Multi-View output
- Using the CUT button go to page 2/16 Video Input
- Within this menu page use the AUTO (Down arrow) button to select EDID
- This is where you set the EDID value
- You can set it to any of the following parameters:
- AUTO*, 480/576i, 480/576p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p, 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x768, 1280x1024, 1366x768, 1400x1050, 1600x1200, 1920x1200 (* Default)
- Use the T-Bar to switch between different resolutions
- Press the SETUP button to Exit and confirm
