Generic TCP Serial Port Module Setup:
- First set the target IP address of the Roland module or Generic TCP module to match the local IP of the computer on your network that is hosting the RS-232 serial connection.

Models with Network Passwords using the Generic Module:
VR-6HD and VR-400UHD require a network password and do not have a dedicated Companion module yet, so there are additional commands needed to successfully control them:
- Each command consists of two to 3 actions with LF returns
- In these Examples, the network password is 0000

VR-6HD:
- In this example, the network password is "0000":
- Press Action - Send Command: 0000
- Press Action - Send Command: DTH:000C01,01; (PinP&Key 1 PGM button on)
- Button commands on the VR-6HD require that you add a release action, otherwise it remains virtually pressed:
- Release Action - Send Command: DTH:000C01,00; (PinP&Key 1 PGM button off)
- In this example, the network password is "0000":
