VR-50HD MK II System Program ( Ver.2.03 )

HOW TO KNOW THE VERSION
Before you start, check the system program version of your VR-50HD MK II.
  1. Hold down [ OUTPUT FADE ] button, and switch on the power.
    * Continue to hold down the [ OUTPUT FADE ] button until the version information appears on the display.
  2. Check the version information that appears on the display.
    Executing this update installs the following version. If the version you're using is older, then carry out the update.
    System : 2.03 build 000
    Network : 2.001

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO UPDATE
  • VR-50HD MK II
  • USB Memory
    * The USB Memory need to be formatted on a VR-50HD MK II.
    * Before using the USB Memory, first delete all files already saved on it.
GETTING THE UPDATE FILE
Please open/extract the downloaded "vr50hdmk2_sys_v203.zip" file on your computer to get the update file named "VR-50HD2.PRG" and "VR-50HD2_NET.PRG" in the "vr50hdmk2_sys_v203" folder.
PROCEDURE FOR THE UPDATE
Creating the Update USB Memory
  1. Copy update files VR-50HD2.PRG and VR-50HD2_NET.PRG to the root directory of a USB Memory.
    * Save no files on the USB Memory except the update files. Otherwise the update might fail to be carried out correctly.

Update Procedure (SYSTEM Program)
 
  1. Insert the USB Memory into the USB MEMORY port on the top panel of the VR-50HD MK II.
  2. Turn the power on with pressing [ MONITOR - MULTIVIEW ] + [ MONITOR - STILL ] + [ TRANSITION - MIX ] buttons.
    * Press these buttons until the flashing of the indicator is finished.
  3. When "Are You Sure?" is displayed on the monitor, press the [ ENTER ] button. Version update is performed automatically.
  4. When "Please Restart VR-50HD MK 2" is displayed on the monitor, the update is completed.
    Turn off the power to complete the update of the SYSTEM program.
    Next, carry out the steps in "Update Procedure (NETWORK Program)."
    * If the version of the NETWORK Program is displayed as "Network : 2.001," no update of the NETWORK Program is required.

Update Procedure (NETWORK Program)
* If the version of the NETWORK Program is displayed as "Network : 2.001," no update of the NETWORK Program is required.
 
  1. Reinsert the USB Memory into the USB port on the rear panel of the VR-50HD MK II.
  2. Turn the power on with pressing [ MONITOR - MULTIVIEW ] + [ MONITOR - STILL ] + [ TRANSITION - WIPE ] buttons.
    * Press these buttons until the flashing of the indicator is finished.
  3. When "Are You Sure?" is displayed on the monitor, press the [ ENTER ] button. Version update is performed automatically.
  4. When "Please Restart VR-50HD MK 2" is displayed on the monitor, the update is completed.
    Turn off the power to complete the update of the NETWORK program.
