- Fixed a bug that sometimes failed to update when multiple USB devices were connected.
- Vertical-band artifacts are sometimes intermixed when scaling is active.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO UPDATE YOUR UVC-01
- UVC-01 itself
- A computer (Windows only) with a USB connector.
- USB 3.0 cable
* The update is carried out with the unit and the computer connected via USB.
Provide a cable suitable for connection to the computer you're using.
CAUTIONS WITH THE UPDATE
- Never apply this update data to any product other than the UVC-01. This update data may destroy the data or system program of other products.
- Never power-off your UVC-01 while the update is in progress!
If a power failure or similar accident occurs during the update process, the UVC-01 won't be able to start up in normal operating mode.
This will require servicing, so you will need to contact Roland service center near you if this occurs. - We regret that we are unable to answer questions regarding the update procedure using this system program. Please perform the update responsibly, following the directions given in this document.
GETTING THE UPDATE FILE
Please open/extract the downloaded "uvc-01_sys_w20220606a.zip" file on your computer to get the update files in the "uvc-01_sys_w20220606a" folder.
PROCEDURE FOR THE UPDATE
Caution
- You must not rename the extracted file.
- Never turn off the UVC-01's power while the update is in progress. Otherwise the system program or the UVC-01 itself may be destroyed.
Please install the extracted system program file into your UVC-01 according to the following procedure.
- Connect the computer to the UVC-01's USB port by a USB 3.0 cable.
- Double-click UVC-01_Updater.EXE to start it.
* If the message "Windows protected your PC." appears, click [ More info ] -> [ Run anyway ] in succession.
* If a warning from an antivirus program is displayed, grant permission. - Make the input selection for audio.
At "Audio Input," select the audio to input.- HDMI: Only audio from HDMI IN is input.
- AUX: Only audio from AUX is input.
- HDMI+AUX: Audio from both HDMI and AUX is input (factory default).
- Click [ Update ] to carry out the update.
- When the message "Completed." appears, the update has finished.
Click [ OK ]. - Quit the application.
