You can use auto switching to automatically switch the input video or the preset memory of the V-02HD MK II.

Auto switching works in one of two modes, an “input scan” mode where the input video is automatically switched, and a “preset memory scan” mode, which automatically switches the preset memory.

Follow the steps below.

1. Press the [MENU] button to display the menu screen.
2. Turn the [VALUE] knob to select “14.SYSTEM,” and press the [VALUE] knob.
3. Turn the [VALUE] knob to display page 3 (3/5), and select “-TYPE” in AUTO SWITCHING.
4. Press the [VALUE] knob.

5. Use the [VALUE] knob to select the target to automatically switch, and press the [VALUE] knob.

   • INPUT SCAN: Switches automatically between INPUT 1 and INPUT 2 video.

   • PRESET MEMORY SCAN: This automatically switches between preset memories 1–8.

6. Use the [VALUE] knob to select “TIME,” and press the [VALUE] knob.
   - A setting screen appears according to the target you selected in step 5.

7. Use the [VALUE] knob to select a menu item, and press the [VALUE] knob to confirm.

   Menu item	Explanation
   INPUT SCAN
   INPUT 1 TIME	Specifies the time that the video is shown. When this is “OFF,” the video is not used as the video switching target.
   INPUT 2 TIME
   SCAN TRANSITION TIME	Specifies the scan transition time.
   PRESET MEMORY SCAN
   MEMORY 1–8 TIME	Specifies the time during which the memory is shown. When this is “OFF,” the video is not used as the video switching target.

8. Only if PRESET MEMORY SCAN is selected
   Turn the [VALUE] knob to select “SEQUENCE”, and press the [VALUE] knob to confirm.

9. Only if PRESET MEMORY SCAN is selected
   Use the [VALUE] knob to change the value of the setting, and press the [VALUE] knob to confirm.

   NORMAL	Switches to the next memory, from MEMORY1 onwards.
   REVERSE	Switches to the next memory in reverse order (as opposed to NORMAL).
   RANDOM	Switches randomly.

10. The following settings are the same, regardless of steps 8 and 9 above. 
    Turn the [VALUE] knob to select “AUTO SWITCHING.”
11. Turn the [VALUE] knob to set the value to “ON,” and then press the [VALUE] knob to confirm.
12. Press the [MENU] button several times to close the menu.
