No Video from an Input Source
If you have no video from one of your input sources, try the following:
- Connect the camera to a TV via HDMI to verify signal
- Restart the camera
- Try a different HDMI cable
- Try the shortest possible HDMI cable directly between camera and switcher
Unit Will Not Boot, No Video from any Input Sources
Unplug all HDMI cables and power it on, see if the buttons work.
Plug a camera directly into a TV to confirm that it works, then unplug it.
Then, plug the Monitor HDMI output to a TV, and press the menu button to see if it appears on the TV.
Note: If using a directional HDMI cable, make sure the arrows on the connectors are going the right way.
- Arrows should point toward an input, and away from an output
Then, plug in a camera to HDMI input 1, make sure input 1 is selected, and see if video appears.
If not, go to Menu > Video Input > Input 1 > Input Status, and let me know what it says.
