V-60HD: How to Prevent the RCS Software from Disconnecting
If using a direct connection between computer and V-60HD with an Ethernet cable on a Windows PC, and your connection drops after it has been idle for some time, you may need to adjust the settings on your NIC (Network Interface Card).
To fix this, open the Device Manager, expand the Network Adapters list, and double click on the network adapter that manages your Ethernet connection. In this example, it is "Intel(R) Ethernet Connection (4) I219-LM".
Next, click on the Power Management tab, and un-check the box that reads, “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power”.
Click OK to confirm the new settings, and restart your computer. Restart the V-60HD as well. After you reboot both devices, the issue should be resolved.
