In order to use a USB flash drive you must first format it from the VR-50HD.

• USB flash drives not formatted by the VR-50HD are not recognized.
• CAUTION: Formatting the USB Drive causes all data already saved on the USB flash drive to be lost. Before you carry out formatting, be sure to check whether the USB flash drive holds any data you want to keep.

Connecting
Insert the USB flash drives all the way in making sure it is firmly in place:

                              

* Never turn off or disconnect the USB flash drives while the screen indicates "Processing".

FORMATTING

1. Press the [Menu] Button:
   
   
   
   
2. In the touch screen Main menu press <MEMORY>.
   
         
   
   
3. In the touch screen USB Memory menu press <Format>.
   
        
   
   
4. A confirmation prompt appears. To format, press the [ENTER]. To cancel, press the [EXIT].
   
          
   
   
5. Press the [MENU] button to exit the menu screen.
